Before 'the Now'

If you are of a certain age, you remember mailing proposals, pricing sheet letters, contracts, and invoices, via US Mail, to your customers, and you were pleased when someone a few states away received these items three to four days later.

Oh yes, there were times when we waited for just about everything, and life was indeed much slower. Waiting today will likely result in being hit by the proverbial truck, and our closest competitor will be behind the wheel. I am not pining for times past (well, not really), but there is a lot of pressure on now. We no longer have the luxury of time, and we cannot accept the risk of being late with our decisions. Too much is riding on them, and on making them in a timely manner.

ITR’s onDemand platform provides you with real-time charting, at any time of day, and on any day. Meetings may be called at any time, and you will need to provide accurate, timely insights so that the right discussion leads to the right decision. Whether it is 2 a.m. or 2 p.m., you can log into onDemand, get the latest data, and see what it means to you.

For instance: You read that retail sales in February fell sharply from January, and you need to know what the impact is on your business. Jump onto onDemand, and the impact of that monthly figure is shown in the retail sales rates-of-change and in the comparison of retail sales to your business. You will immediately know if the hot news flash is truly significant to you and to your planning. For example, is the February figure enough to stop the retail sales 12/12 rising trend, which in turn would signal that your rate of growth is about to also slow? You will know the answer to that in a flash, and you can walk into the meeting and say, “Yes, the February number was not good, but it is not a problem for us because the 3/12 and 12/12 rates-of-change still moved higher, and that is always good news for us.”

The onDemand portal will allow you to evaluate the ITR Checking Points™ in your market indicators as the data becomes available (see our website for more information on using rates-of-change and Checking Points). You will know with mathematical precision what the latest data means for the business cycle and what decisions you should, or should not, make. You will know what you need to know, and you will know it "now." You will have the instant mathematical analysis that is inherent to onDemand and ITR methodology. Let others wait for the mail and for monthly reports; you can have it all now.
